3. Why they said “no”
0 Fiction is best read, for me, in the form of a book. It is a much more intimate and
meaningful experience to hold a book in your hands--for it enables me to tune
out, connect, reconnect, and reflect in ways that reading fiction on a device does
not.
0 I like to have the actual book because there no way it's going to die or have a bad
glare.
0 I hate reading on a screen and we are forced to look at screens all day during
classes, so when I read for fun I would much rather just read a book.
0 I do not because I like to have the book in my hands. It helps me learn and
understand it better.
4. Why they said “yes”
0 I resisted an e-reader at first but decided I read so much it was worth it.
0 Because the ebooks are cheaper, and I always carry my electronics around,
therefore I can read everywhere, even on my phone :)
0 read at night, backlit without turning on lamp to disturb roommate
0 If I am not near a bookstore or library or want to get a book immediately. Also,
sometimes ebooks are cheaper.
5. Why they said “sometimes”
0 I use it sometimes because its easer to purchase the books I want if the library
doesn't have them
0 I usually read my non-fiction on my e-reader app for school. My personal fiction
books are read through hard copies or a website called Wattpad.
0 I read online and most of the time when I have time to read it is over a break
when I can just go to the local library.
0 I did during study hall freshman year because I had free time and wanted to read,
but ebooks aren't free like borrowing a book from the library.
