This enhancement is also a move in the direction of getting away from the use of Sabre STARS for information and documentation. This enhancement replaces the international STAR which was previously used to document all international records. It is for this reason that while the automated email notification is optional the PNR documentation process is not. As a special note this means the passport information fields being activated for the GetThere profiles are required and mandatory. This enhancement roll out live December 7, 2008.
The most important information here for most clients is we are not sharing any information with outside sources that can identify the passenger. The passengers personal information remains secure. Travisa Clients will also have a link made available to be embedded on their GetThere Site.
This is an example of the automated email we can send. The ability to send an HTML email from our automated systems is something of a breakthrough as the language used to automate Sabre, QIK, does not support HTML email and we could previously only send text emails. We were able to create a solution by working with our partners at Sabre consulting.
For our Travisa clients the emails contain active links to the web page with Travisa’s complete instructions and Visa/Passport processing instructions. For our clients with other preferred visa/passport processing vendors these links will be replaced with a link to the web portal of their preferred vendor. We will be requesting business travel requirements from Travisa for our final destination and transit and business requirements for each intermediary stop in a country outside the United States. The logic we use to determine this is quite lengthy but if anyone has anyone questions regarding the logic we are using I will be glad to take those questions offline.
At the bottom we have a disclaimer which legal has cleared.

Links from the email for Travisa clients go directly to the travel instructions page for the country off destination.
