3. Language Arts
In our class, we will use
communication talker as
an instructional method.
We will read or discuss
vocabulary in small
groups and will be based
on theme of the week.
One of the things we use
is a communication talker
to say good morning and
tell stories

4. Math
During our math centers,
we will practice using our
sensory skills such as
touch, look, and listen. This
will help us learn numbers
in a way that makes sense
to us.

5. Vocational, Daily,
Functional Skills
We will practice
vocational , daily,
functional skills this year.
We will practice in
vocational, daily and
functional skills daily.
• Community Based
Instruction every other
Thursday.

6. Social Studies and
History
Our studies of
communities,
people, and history
of the United States
will be our social
studies and history
focus.

7. Teacher/Parent
