2. Audience feedback
When looking at my audience, I wanted to do an
anonymous questionnaire to ask about smoking and
drinking within underage people . I am going to use this to
inform my ideas towards the next step in gathering
information from my target audience.
The next step I will use is a focus group including a group
of people and asking them questions further developing
my understanding.

When looking at the results for this
question it is clear to see that
everyone who answered has drank
alcohol with someone over the age
of 18.
Therefore I will try and aim my
advertisement at under and over 18
year olds as adults should be more
responsible as to not let underage
teenagers drink alcohol
This will help me form my ideas as I
know it is a subject that needs to be
focused on.

Therefor this gives me reason to prevent
children drinking underage in unsafe
places.

5. This highlights that not many people in the
average family drink abnormal amounts
however the people that said their family
members do, they may be more influenced to
drink alcohol at a young age, therefore
preventing adults drinking will also prevent
young adults to consume alcohol.
50% of people have smoked and 50% have
never tried it. Therefore this is a key topic that
needs to be discussed is smoking however
alcohol consumption rate is a lot higher than the
rate of smoking therefore this will help me form
my ideas for my pitch as I would like to highlight
the subject matter that is relevant.
6. Many people said they didn’t smoke daily,
however 16.7% people said they did. However
this rate is lower than alcoholic consumption
meaning I would use these results in my
campaign however it would not be the main
focus.
This highlights that children underage may be
more likely to smoke if an adult in there family
does. If I include smoking in my campaign I may
use this to educate my ideas.
7. Most of my target audience said that they do in fact
listen to the radio and many people also said
sometimes, showing a high amount of teenagers may
take into consideration radio advertisements.
Tv advertisements are definitely more likely to have
an impact on my target audience, therefore this will
impact my decision making as I may use a tv advert
to present my advert however there is many ways I
could do this for example, there is print adverts that I
may use.
8. Many people said that they wouldn’t be
concerned about graphic advertisements
therefore I can use this to base my
information on as I would be able to be
inspired by the previous adverts that the nhs
have used to cooperate it with the better
health campaign
Overall many people would take
advertisements into consideration, therefore i
would make sure the advertisement is
noticeable and not light hearted. I want my
audience to notice and be educated on what
is shown to better their health and slow the
impacts of smoking and drinking under the
age of 18.
