1. Peaks of Europe
The Picos de Europa was Spain’s first
national park, initially called the
National Park of the mountains of
Covadonga when it was estabilished
in July 1918.

2. It is one of the country’s most popular natural attractions, it
is situated in the cantabria mountain rage, between
Asturias, León and Cantabria.
It has the biggest limestone formation on Europe’s Atlantic
coast and among its clifs you can find the ibex, while in its
forests you may come across wolves, roebucks and
sometimes bears. There are also griffon vultures and
golden eagles.
