INTERNSHIP
Nothing can substitute real time work exposure. LTA’s internship
program works towards giving its students real time exposure of
working in a salon/clinic. Internship starts after students have undergone
all the 7 technical modules of SGP within a span of 12-15 months.
Internship could either be paid for in terms of stipend or minimal
allowance or at time it could be a voluntary service to gain experience.
Three months real time exposure ensures that LTA students are no longer
fresher and command a better career start financially and also in terms
of work profile.
JOB PLACEMENTS
Providing Job placements to students completing SGP is part of LTA’s
commitment to its students. Once students complete their course, they can
register with the placement team to request for job placement . LTA’s
placement team conducts orientation session with students on how to

12. Just like we have sports Olympics, Once in every two years several countries
compete with each other across various skills . In 2013 LTA students Ms.
Ravina Bhatti won the regional And National rounds to represent India in
World skills competition held in Leipzig, Germany.
In the year 2015 another LTA student Ms. Neha Chande won tough regional
and national Selection round to emerge winner among 100 contestants. In
April 2015 Neha won Gold medal in World Skills Oceania competition
overcoming competition from Australia and Canada. Finally for the first time
ever in the history of India’s beauty skills in August 2015 Neha won the
medallion in Worldskills competition held in Sao Paulo Brazil

Tech Fest/SEZ
Tech fest or technical festival is an annual event for students. Students from across
LTA centres are encouraged to Put up a stall/Booth which represent a
Salon/SPA/Clinic Students designs their own respective salon names, Service
menu card with pricing and also their own salon uniforms for that occasion. On
the day of event visited by 100s of people, students actively start canvassing for
their salon and encourage visitors to avail of their services. This way they get to
practice and improve Their communication and selling skills besides improving
their planning , team work and implementation skills. SEZ (Salon experiential
Zone) where Salon environment is created in Popular exhibition event and students
demonstrate their skills in front of professionals

A 2 days beauty skill competition organized by LTA to encourage students to
enhance their Competitive skills and benchmark their skills against their peers
within industry. Students under 22 years of age are shortlisted for this event and
winning contestant stands very good chance to represent India in world skills
