LSE Teaching Day 2010 Online
If you are tweeting about teaching day please include the conference
hashtag*:

                          #lsetd10
If you are blogging about teaching day, saving bookmarks to delicious,
adding photos to Flickr etc then please use the conference tag*:

                           lsetd10

*What are tags & hashtags?
Tags are keywords used to identify information online. Tagging is an
alternative to putting things in folders. Many online tools such as blogs
take advantage of tagging to help us (re)locate resources.
For example, bookmarks (favourite websites) saved by teaching day
participants who use the ‘delicious’ bookmarking tool can be found
here: http://delicious.com/tag/lsetd10
A hashtag is specific to Twitter and is prefixed by #. Twitter is used at
conferences as a communication ‘backchannel’, a way for participants
to share information, ask questions & make contact during the event.
LSE Teaching Day tweets: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=lsetd10
To find out more about conference tags, backchannels and the related
tools please visit the Centre for Learning Technology stand on the
Lower Ground Floor, NAB during lunch.
