How did school treat Einstien? He did outstandingly well in physics and mathematics, but failed the non-science subjects, doing especially badly in French - so he was initially not accepted at the Federal Polytechnic Academy. Could facilities afforded by Web 2.0 have helped Einstien learn the non-science subjects in his own way?
Does Learning need to be imposed? 70 – 80% of what we learn takes place outside the formal classroom. What might happen if informal learning could be blended with formal classroom learning, i.e. learn what you want/need as well as be guided by the good disciplines of formal learning? How could such learning be facilitated?

Things holding the World back Adherence to traditional packaged courses. Authentication, accreditation of online learning. Content dumping on the net. Boring content. Intelligent searching facilities. Lack of pedagogical considerations in organizing material on the net. Lack of infrastructure in developing countries.
E-Learning Promises Gold… Online mentors with open minds. Instructors with collaborative learning management skills. Interactive, engaging content. Accreditation & authentication systems. New technology methods to reach people in developing countries. Design to consider learning problems of people in developing countries.
