How to access the virtual library discussion hang-out

  1. 1. A hangout is a video call. Video calls from Hangouts lets you have face-to-face conversations with up to 10 people. It’s easy to invite specific friends or Google+ circles. If someone is unavailable, Hangouts will send a missed call notification and the person can call you back. You’ll need a full Google+ account to get access to all of Hangouts’ features including group video calls, sharing photos, and using Hangouts with Google+ circles..
  2. 2. 1.1. Google+: Click on the Hangouts icon in the top-right corner of the Google+ window.
  3. 3. 1.2. Gmail: Click on the Hangouts icon in the bottom-right corner of the Gmail window
  4. 4. The list is ordered with your most recent Hangout at the top. Or click the search button and type a name or email address. When you find the person you want, click their name. If you want to start a group Hangout, check the boxes in front of multiple people's names and click the chat icon to start a message or a video icon to start a video call.
  5. 5. Text conversation: Type the message you want to send in the text box that says “Send a message” and press the return key on your keyboard to send the message. To add a photo, click the camera button. The typing indicator will show other people in the Hangout that you’re typing a message. Video call: Click the video call button to start a video call
