This study examines the effects of lucid dreaming on patients with Major Depressive Disorder. It divides diagnosed MDD patients into four groups - one that receives lucidity training and maintains medication, one that receives training without medication, one that only receives medication, and a control group that receives neither. The study aims to determine if lucid dreaming techniques like mnemonic induction and early morning naps can help treat depression by making patients lucid within their dreams. The conclusion will assess if lucid dreaming finds a better way to treat depression.
