Hill Launch Assist (HLA).
Designed to temporarily prevent you
from rolling down a slope when you move
your foot from the brake pedal to the
accelerator pedal. It works in forward and
reverse gears, so is ideal for towing and
pulling heavy loads.

Emergency brake warning.
Front and rear indicators automatically flash during heavy braking, giving other drivers
advanced hazard warning.
Traction control system.
If wheel slip is detected at low speed, this system can distribute more torque to the wheel with
most traction.
Rollover Mitigation.
Designed to identify a potentially dangerous driving situation and activate the ESP to restore
stability.
Note: A rear-facing child seat should never be placed in the
front passenger seat when the Ford vehicle is equipped
with an operational front passenger’s airbag. The safest
place for children is properly restrained on the rear seat.
Intelligent Protection System (IPS).
Ford’s advanced IPS uses a range of sophisticated technologies designed to keep you protected, including ultra-high
strength steel safety cage, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and front, side and

air conditioning.
Can be adjusted separately for the driver and front passenger, with up to 4°C variation from

Cruise control with Automatic Speed Limiting Device (ASLD).
Let’s you set the pace. The ASLD allows you to set a maximum speed to avoid inadvertently
exceeding the speed limit. (Standard on all Trend and Titanium models)
Wipers that automatically adjust to the rain.
Rain-sensing wipers spring into action the instant they detect moisture on your windscreen,
then adjust their speed to deal with whatever the weather throws at you. You can choose from
six sensitivity levels, which determine how much moisture builds up before the wipers clear it.
