Euthanasia
Definition:-
Euthanasia, somti
mes known as
« mercy
killing », is the
ententional ending
of a patient’s life
by a
physician, usually
by lethal injection.
Types of Euthanasia:-


   Active Euthanasia
   Passive Euthanasia
Classification
Voluntary euthanasia:-

Euthanasia upon request .
 Voluntary euthanasia is legal in
 Belgium,Netherland and throughout
 the U.S.
Non-voluntary euthanasia:-
 Euthanasia is performed without the
 consent of the individual
 Examples: Child euthanasia, which is
 illegal worldwide but
    accepted in Netherland under certain
 specific circumstances.
Involuntary euthanasia:-

Euthanasia conducted against the will of
 the patient.
 This is illegal and considered murder.
• Human beings should not interfere in
               process of life

• It is forbidden to plan or to come to know
through self will the time of our own death.
Examples from Quran
In Holyquran ALLAH (SWT) said :-

• "Do not kill yourselves, for verily Allah has
  been to you most merciful" (Chapter
  4, verse 29)

• "....take not life which Allah has made
  sacred" (Chapter 6, verse 151)
Conclusion:-
• According to these clear Holy Scriptures:
  euthanasia and all types of suicide are
  prohibited in Islam.

• The lives of all are to be respected, whether
  they are an unborn child, a born child or a
  person who is old, sick or disabled.

• There is a clear saying of the prophet
  Muhammad (PBUH), which prohibits all
  methods of suicide, such as taking a
  poison, jumping from a mountain, or by any
  other method. Otherwise hell is the
  punishment.
