Research Interests: My dissertation focused on student active participation in curriculum design and implementation. During the project I considered ways graduate students can be involved in the decision making process regarding the curriculum. As such, my research interests include curriculum design, critical curriculum, student voice, and democratic education. I am also interested in curriculum based technology integration. Teaching Philosophy I am an educator who believes that our role is not to transmit knowledge to passive learners.
