3. Became tired
while doing
ministry
Used to getting
water from
Jacob’s well
on the sixth hour

4. “Give me a
drink.”
How is it that You,
being a Jew, ask me
for a drink since I
am a Samaritan
woman?”

5. Brought down
the barriers
Built put up
barriers:
Racial / Ethnic/ Gender

6. First time, He
openly revealed
Himself as the
Messiah
Why? Because the Jews
see the Samaritans as
worst of human race

7. “If you knew
the gift of
God….”

8. “(If you knew) who
it is Who says to
you, ’give Me a
drink’.”

9. “(If you knew) You
would have asked
Him….”

10. “(If you knew) He
would have given you
living water.”
Sir, you have nothing
to draw with
The well is deep…..

11. “Everyone who drinks of
this water shall thirst
again…”
“Where do you get
that living water?”
“Are you greater than our
father Jacob who gave us the
well
And drank from it himself and
his sons and also his cattle.”
“..but whoever drinks
of the water that I
shall give him shall
NEVER THIRST….”

12. “..but the water that
I shall become in him
a well of water
springing up to
eternal life.”

13. “Go, call your
husband.”
“Sir, give me this water?
so I will not be thirsty..
nor come all the way
here…”
“… and come here.”

14. “You have well said, ‘I
have no husband.’
“I have no husband.”
“I perceive that you
are a prophet.” “.this you have said truly.”
“…for you have had five
husbands, and the one
whom you have now have
is not your husband..”

15. “Woman, believe Me, an
hour is coming when
neither in this mountain
nor in Jerusalem shall you
worship the Father…”
“Our fathers worshiped
in this mountain, and
your people say that in
Jerusalem is the place
where men ought to
worship…”

16. “I, Who
speak, am
He. ”
“I know that Messiah is
coming He who is called
Christ), when the One
comes, He will declare
all things to us.”

17. “Come, see a man
who told me all the
things I have done;
this is not Christ,
is He?”

18. Many more believed
because of His Word.
Many Samaritans
believed in Him as the
Savior.

19. JESUS, THE LIVING WATER
I. THIS LIVING WATER IS FROM
GOD ALONE THROUGH HIS
SON, JESUS CHRIST

20. JESUS, THE LIVING WATER
II. HE WILL NEVER RUN OUT
OF SUPPLY FOR EVERYONE
WHO LONGS FOR HIM

21. JESUS, THE LIVING WATER
III. HE SATISFIES ANYONE AND
MAKES THEM ALL FRUITFUL
