My research interests include protein structure determination, protein-protein interactions, protein misfolding, protein dynamics and its role in protein function and protein-related diseases. My main tools are NMR and in silico simulations. Between 1996 and 2004, I worked as a member of several research teams that studied Hsp70-Hsp40 chaperone system. Since 2005, our primary target has been prion proteins that, when misfolded, cause Mad Cow Disease in cattle and similar Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in humans.
I also have a passion for developing software that helps protein scientific community to work faster and achieve its goals sooner. I hope to simplify and speed up protein studies in .
