Saving sessions

  from a link on the Conference Moodle.

• After the conference they will be made freely available through
  the JISC website.

• You can save the Whiteboard, Text-chat and participants list by
  selecting “File, Save ….

         (probably best to save the Whiteboard as a PDF file)

Session practice

Text-chatting        •   Use the text-chat to engage with other delegates, presenter and moderators about
                         the content of the session.
                     •   You can send private text-chat messages e.g. to moderators or to individuals.



Blackboard           •   You can move and increase the size of the text-chat window to make it easier to
Collaborate layout       follow the text-chat.




Audio                •   It is best to run the Audio Set-up Wizard to test your audio set-up each time you
                         enter a Blackboard Collaborate room (select “Tools…Audio… Audio setup wizard).
                     •   You must use a headset/microphone if you want to ask a question in audio.
                     •   Only use your microphone when guided by a moderator – click on the “Talk” button
                         to turn it on and click on it again to turn it off.



Whiteboard           •   Only draw on the whiteboard if guided by a moderator.

Organisational transformation and curriculum change: Turning things around Presenter Facilitator Professor Mark Stubbs Dr Pam Parker Mark Stubbs is professor and head of Dr Pam Parker is the Associate learning and research technologies at Director of the Learning Manchester Metropolitan University. Audio • It is best to run the Audio Set-up Wizard to test your audio set-up each time you enter a Blackboard Collaborate room (select “Tools…Audio… Audio setup wizard). • You must use a headset/microphone if you want to ask a question in audio. • Only use your microphone when guided by a moderator – click on the “Talk” button to turn it on and click on it again to turn it off.
