3. What is the Texas STaR Chart? The Texas StaR chart stands for School Technology and Readiness, known simply as the STaR Chart. The chart is a self-assessment and is utilized by campuses and school districts. It is aligned with a Long-Range Plan for Technology. The STaR Chart’s purpose is for planning, budgeting, and evaluating technology progress.
