1. HEARING THE WORD
Q. It is Necessary to Hear the WORD (BIBLE) in Order
to be Saved. Why?
Romans 10:17
17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the
message, and the message is heard through the word
about Christ.
One must first hear and understand the Bible before
he can believe it.
If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciple.
Then you will know the truth and the truth will set
you free." (John 8:31, 32)

2. BELIEVING THE MESSAGE
Hebrews 11:6
"Without faith it is impossible to please God, because
anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.“
John 1:12-13
12
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who
believed in his name, he gave the right to become
children of God—13
children born not of natural
descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will,
but born of God.

3. You must believe that Jesus is the only solution
for you sin

ACTS 17:30
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now
He commands all people everywhere to repent.
What is repentance?
The Greek word “repent” is metanoeo; it appears 26
times in the New Testament.
9. 9
3. ATTITUDE OF REPENTANCE

by deeds
10. 10
3. ATTITUDE OF REPENTANCE
Two Examples of Repentance:
a) Judas’ repentance
- (Mt. 27:3-10)
b) Peter’s repentance
- (Mt. 26:69-75) and Acts 2
- “Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to
salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of
the world produces death” (2 Cor. 7:10).

4. CONFESSION OF SURRENDER
Verbalized/declared their decision to follow Christ
Romans 10:9-10
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in
righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation.

baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the

17. FALSE DOCTRINE
1. Infant Baptism - to remove original sin and most
importantly to change their eternal destiny from hell to
heaven.
a. Baptism – sprinkle of water versus immersion to water
b. Baptism – infant don’t have faith and baptism required
faith
c. Original sin – introduce in the 2nd century by Irenaeus,
Bishop of Lyons
-was popularized by Augustine (354 to 431), the
bishop of Hippo, declared that a baby, from the moment
of conception, is guilty of the original sin of Adam
17
18. FALSE DOCTRINE – INFANT
BAPTISM
EZEKIEL 18:19-20
Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of
his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and
right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he
will surely live. 20
The one who sins is the one who
will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent,
nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The
righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them,
and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against
them.
