2. EnergySmart SIMPLY PLUG IN AND START SAVING Retail electricity suppliers in Australia only charge domestic consumers for their use of real electrical power, as recorded by domestic electricity meters on a kWh basis. The demonstration videos you will see during this presentation are evidence that the EnergySmart is capable of reducing the amount of real power consumed by domestic consumers therefore domestic consumers will save money by using the EnergySmart.
3. EnergySmart SIMPLY PLUG IN AND START SAVING An electric meter or energy meter in the home measures the amount of electrical energy consumed by a residence. The reading from this electric or energy meter will determine how much you will be charged on your electricity bill.
4. One function of the Queensland Government Climate Smart wireless energy monitor is to display the amount of energy being consumed in a residence at any one time in kW (kilowatts) and how much it’s costing you per kW hour (kilowatt hour). It is updated every few seconds, so it’s close to real-time information you’re seeing. A transmitter which connects to a sensor is attached to the power supply in the meter box by a licensed electrician. EnergySmart SIMPLY PLUG IN AND START SAVING
5. EnergySmartDEMONSTARTION In the following demonstration videos the electric meter installed in the home was read before and after the EnergySmart was plugged in and activated with the exact same appliance/s running in the home. In each instance A DISTINCT REDUCTION CAN BE CLEARLY SEEN IN BOTH THE kW USAGE AND THE COST PER kW HOUR. The simple fact is, if the cost of each kW hour of electricity is decreased the domestic consumer pays less money on their electricity bill – which means money in the pocket.

9. The EnergySmart is a revolutionary, innovative and cost effective device which allows the consumer to immediately conserve energy, SAVE MONEY and reduce their environmental footprint. Simply plug it in to any power point in a single phase home, turn it on and start saving money NOW. The purpose of the EnergySmart is to decrease losses within induction motors and the line which dissipate power in the form of heat. Since this power cannot be returned to the electrical circuit, it is lost power. Put simply, the electricity bill will be reduced which means immediate cost savings to the home owner. 10. EnergySmartHOW IT WORKS Resistive loads such as lighting, electric heaters, ovens, toasters, and irons etc. work entirely by consuming watts or kilowatts. Inductive loads though such as the microwave, air-conditioner, fridge and pool pump etc. require some current to create a magnetic field, and the magnetic field facilitates the desired work.
11. All induction loads require two kinds of power: reactive power and real power or working power of the kilowatt. The real power or working power performs the work of the motor. This is what consumers pay for. The only function of reactive power is to develop the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) to ground the induction windings of the motor. Domestic consumers are not charged for reactive power because it is not “consumed” by an appliance. Reactive power is simply stored in and discharged by inductive motors, and transformers and swings in and out of the house each cycle. The total or apparent power required by an inductive motor is the vector sum of real power and reactive power. EnergySmartHOW IT WORKS
12. Reactive power required by inductive loads increases the amount of apparent power in a households distribution system. Apparent power requires additional current flowing across the grid, and thus creates distribution losses in transformers and lines in the form of dissipated heat or in other words, a part of energy ends up lost in the process of transferring energy to the load. As stated all these losses dissipate power in the form of heat. Since this power cannot be returned to the electrical circuit it is lost power that is paid for by the consumer. EnergySmartHOW IT WORKS
13. Normally the system generator or transformer supplies both real and reactive power. But when the EnergySmart is plugged in and activated it supplies the reactive current component to the load. The EnergySmart is, in effect, a reactive power generator. As the motor operates, the reactive power is “pulled and pushed” to and from the EnergySmart by the motor. Reactive power is now reclaimed and recycled by the EnergySmart resulting in such power being supplied on the spot. Since reactive power is being supplied on the spot the current flow from the line is substantially reduced, which results in less distribution losses in motors and transformers and less line losses (dissipated in the form of heat). This equates to dollar savings on electricity bills. EnergySmartHOW IT WORKS
14. ELECTRICITY PRICES SKYROCKET IN AUSTRALIA. Electricity prices in parts of Australia have increased at nearly four times the rate of inflation over the last 5 years according to new research released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The following chart reveals the increase in electricity prices in capital cities between 2005 and 2010. POTENTIAL IN THE AUSTRALIAN MARKET
16. These prices rises are just the beginning. Experts agree the introduction of a carbon tax is likely to cause electricity prices to at least double........ Electricity prices skyrocket around Australia
