❖ Find a reference from an old or a current employee

❖ Use search and hashtags to find jobs, tweet often and follow interesting
companies/job posting accounts, retweet interesting content from these
companies

❖ Like companies you want a job at and interact with them, add professional
skills, stay updated
❖ LinkedIn
❖ Connect and network, check the jobs board, ask for endorsements and
recommendations, share & like articles, write posts, make sure you list
everything so you have a complete and robust profile
15. Tips from employers
❖ At the moment LinkedIn is most used but employers,
“footprint” on some can be useful especially for portfolios
❖ Act smart on social media, your opinions and attitude are
visible, list your skills honestly
❖ The entirety is what matters and social media is a part of
that
❖ Know-how and enthusiasm are very important criteria
