My research interest focus on the culture of the internet, investigating idenity, community and communication in an online environment. I currently have an Australian Research Council grant to look at the impact of the internet on the way that young people acquire and consume music. My teaching interests are based in the implementation of a discipline-specific pedagogy and the use of new technologies to deliver authentic learning experiences.
