Language learning is a multi-sensory process and video allows developing a range of language skills including listening, speaking, reading and writing, with one resource. Video is a great resource for listening and speaking, for all language learners. Using video helps the student to learn languages at their own pace, when they have the time. Video for ALL will be the European project that will bring together all current methodologies, ideas and innovative practices to teach and learn languages by integrating digital video. The project believes that video must be a basic tool for a more multidisciplinary approach to language teaching and learning in today’s world.

Abstract - In recent days students are facing procedural problems in certain subject areas like mathematics. By providing video podcasts which is very short, web-based, audio visual explanation that help us to solve it. A video podcasts covering all fundamental self-study mathematic tools and it is used by students to acquire pre-calculus skills. At last, the result concluded that most of the students used video podcasts which is very useful for their studies. By learning these tools, pre-calculus concepts would be gained.

During this session at the 7th Annual International Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Online Learning, learn about one instructor's use of YouTube's free and easy-to-use features for recording, editing, captioning, and embedding video into his online course. An overview of the steps for recording, editing, captioning, video in YouTube will be provided as well as examples shared for various approaches for seamlessly incorporating video into any online course. While the session featured the integrated "video anywhere" YouTube features in Blackboard, the principles provided will be applicable to an online course in any learning management system. A summary of feedback survey results from students regarding their experiences with video in the course were shared as well as lessons learned by the instructor for those wishing to follow the same suggested steps for incorporating video in their own course. What technology challenges are you facing today? A recent forum of CTO's found that while funding is an on-going issue there are other challenges that can be equally as daunting. Cyberwellness has always been a ministry initiative, but in recent years has increasingly gained importance nation-wide as the evolving Internet and media landscapes bring about various issues with it. Innova JC’s JC1 Cyberwellness Civics Lesson was done in collaboration with Media Development Authority (MDA), to bring about character development to IJC students. All JC1 New Media Arts CCA students (known as NMA Cyberwellness Ambassadors) researched on cyberwellness topics that interest and benefit them as youths (social networking and gaming addiction). The students then collated materials (videos, case studies) to be used in the lessons. They then leveraged on the weekly Civics Programme to extend its reach to the entire JC1 cohort of students. This programme is also part of Innova New Media Education Programme where students equip Innovians with the skills to be safe and responsible users of the Internet. Innova Junior College's General Paper educator, Ms Serene Tan and Ms Lee Rui Jun presented at the 2012 Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education Conference on Second Life on the topic 'Teaching Prejudice and Discrimination Using Second Life'. Conference Abstract: Welcome to Maletopia, a Second Life build that seeks to facilitate students’ exploration of ideas in prejudice and discrimination, one of the topics in the General Paper (GP) curriculum. The presentation will cover the rationale, objectives and design of the lessons revolving around Maletopia, which will be implemented in April 2012, by the GP Unit from Innova Junior College (Singapore, Grades 11-12). Through adopting the identities of their avatars, it is envisaged that Maletopia provides a stimulating environment for students to ‘leave behind’ their actual identities and engage in fruitful dialogues for enhanced understanding of prejudice and discrimination issues.
