Type of documentary- mixed documentary (lots
  of variety in the documentary, voxpops,
  archive material, music, voice over, interviews)
• Channel and scheduling- channel 4 8.00- 8.30
• Target audience- 16 years onwards
• Primary research- interviews with pet
  owners, pet shop owners and the rspca.
• Secondary research- books, internet for
  statistics
Narrative structure- beginning- set the scene
 with lots of cutaways of different pets and
 people. Middle- the conflict of the
 documentary people who like pets and people
 who don’t. ending- statistics of pets. (most
 hated pet, most loved pet, most
 vicious/dangerous, how much people spend on
 their pets)
Resource requirements- camera, still
  camera, tripod, charger, microphone
