1RANSFERS
In connection with the transfers which have been effected
today:-
(1) Sale of shares in Canton Holdings Limited
I enclose a copy of the Memorandum of Sale and of the
Power of Attorney authorising me to execute the Memorandum
of Sale on behalf of the Vendor, Richmond Nominees Limited
to Orion Nominees Limited of all of Houshang Bouzari' s
interest in Canton Holdings Limited for a purchase
consideration of US$300,OOO. I also enclose a copy of the
letter of instruction to our bankers, Messrs Coutts & Co.
This takes the form of two letters and a telegraphic
transfer form. I confirm that the sum of US$300,OOO and
not the sterling equivalent thereof is being transferred
to the Ministry of Information Foreign Currency Account,
Account No. 78, Tehran at the Bank Markazi Iran in
Tehran.

(2) In relation to the transfer of US$900, 000 to Bank
Markazi, the same account as above I enclose a copy of the
telegraphic transfer to Barclays Bank in Guernsey for the
irrevocable transfer of the sums in question.
Both irrevocable transfers should result in funds being
received on or before Friday'morning of this week.

therefrom of the monies so received ie US$300,OOO (not the
sterling equivalent thereof) to the same destination

We confirm our telephone conversations of this morning and
enclose herewith an instruction to telegraphically
transfer the sum of the sterling equivalent of US$300,OOO
from Hamlin Slowe Sterling Account subject of course to
first receiving the said amount by telegraphic transfer
from First National Bank in Jersey. '
Clearly the intention is that as soon as you receive
cleared funds for the said amount into this firm'S
sterling client account the full amount thereof be
transferred in accordance with the instruction enclosed
herewith for the benefit of the Ministry of Information,
Foreign Currency Account, Account No, 78, Tehran, at the
Bank Markazi Iran, Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.
We confirm that the identity of the client account at our
firm is Richmond Nominees Limited.
