Sub: - Non compliance of Para 72(5) ofEPF Scheme 1952 by employers-regarding
Sir,
With reference to the above subject, it has been observed that some employers do not
forward the claim submitted to them by their outgoing employees within time. This leads to
harassment of the employees and gives rise to lodging of grievances with Employees
Provident Fund Organization.
You are therefore advised to educate the employers to comply with the provisions of
Para 72(5) of the EPF Scheme 1952 where the employer is duty bound to forward duly filled
in and attested claim application to the respective EPF Office within five days of its receipt.
-
It may be made clear to all employers that failure to comply with provision as

implemented Energy Efficient Technology after 12.02.2010 i.e. from the date of notification of
the scheme are eligible under this scheme.
In order to implement the above activity under the scheme, Office of DC (tvfSME)
