The Cutty Sark is a composite construction clipper ship built in 1869 that served as a merchant vessel and later as a training ship. It is preserved in dry dock in Greenwich, London and is one of only three ships in the Core Collection of the National Historic Ships Register, along with HMS Belfast and SS Robin. The Cutty Sark suffered damage in a fire in 2007 but is currently undergoing restoration to reopen in 2012.
