Conditioning limits our beliefs about ourselves and others as well as notions of truth and God. Conditioned responses are chains that bind us, and we use facts to justify conditioned identities. Conditioning hides within us disguised as ourselves. To overcome conditioning, we must cultivate the freedom from conditioning as a physiological state rather than an attitude, and distinguish between self-help and self-limitation without trading one form of conditioning for another in our pursuit of living better.
