3. Types of Classes Online – ONL Shared with other colleges Different start and stop dates than other WCC courses Instructors and students may be from other colleges

4. Types of Classes Online – OL Whatcom Community College private course that use our own start and stop dates Instructor and students will all be from WCC

5. Types of Classes Hybrid – HY WCC private course that use our own start and stop dates Instructors and students will be from WCC A percentage of your in-class time (F2F) will be replaced by working online through the Angel system

6. Type of Classes Web Enhanced – WE WCC traditional ‘face-to-face’ courses that use our own start and stop dates and use Angel as a course management system. Instructor and fellow students will be from WCC Seat-time in class is NOT replaced. You will be required to have computer access to get assignments.

7. Online classes are not easier, just taught using different tools.

8. Classes start the first day of the quarter. Be prepared!
