Portable solution for companies
fleet 590 integrates a black box, cable and antenna with Garmin’s leading user interface. The 5.0" touch display is optimal for limiting driver
interaction and makes it easy to see driving-related information at a glance. It also has a fleet-friendly design so you can easily transfer it
from vehicle to vehicle. And because fleet 590 is portable and does not require a direct hard-wiring to the vehicle, professional installation
costs or customer downtime is reduced or eliminated.

19. Proper Installation Recommendations
1.
GPS Tracking Device should be securely mounted up and under the
driver’s side dash near the steering column. Wiring should be connected
directly to the Ignition Wiring harness and a good ground source.
2.
The antenna provided is an external
windshield mount. GPS Satellite
signal strength is more important
than Cellular side of GPS tracking.
Upper right corner of windshield is
most optimal and safest for
placement.
3.
The in-vehicle Buzzer should be
securely mounted under the
driver’s side dash near the center
console or somewhere that will
not obstruct the sound emitted.
4.
To thwart tampering with the installed
system, Torque Seal (supplied) should be
applied to all wiring connections including
the SMC/SMA antenna connectors.
