A pioneering middle grades educator from Pender County Schools in southeastern North Carolina. Emphasis on blending learning environments, the use of learning management systems, and the development of student-centered and project based learning. Specializes in leveraging instructional technology to promote student growth and learning. Co-author of the internationally-acclaimed WoWinSchool Program with Lucas Gillispie. Developed county-wide workshops on the use of technology in the classroom as well as presented at state and national conferences on technology implementation in k-12 education.
