1.  An axis is an invisible line through the center of an object.
2.  To a scientist, one day is how long it takes Earth to rotate, or spin,
    once on its axis.
3. The axis is an imaginary line through the part that is touching the
    ground.
4. It takes Earth 24 hours to rotate once on its axis.
5. Different planets rotate at different speeds.
6. As Earth rotates, different parts of Earth face the sun.
7. This causes the cycle of day and night.
8. An axis is an invisible line through the center of an object.
9. When a part of Earth is facing the sun, it is daytime there.
10. It takes Venus 243 days, or about 8 months, to rotate once.
