Avalanche can be configured as a five- or six-passenger3
SUV.
2 To begin converting Avalanche from an SUV to a pickup, simply lower the 60/40
split-folding bench seat. You can also stow the rear window inside the Midgate.
3 To utilize the full length of the cargo box, just lower the Midgate for a completely
secured cargo area (when the three-piece cargo cover and rear window are in place).
4 To complete the transformation, remove the rear window and three-piece cargo
cover and lower the tailgate to transport items such as a small ATV.
