1. Fizzy Drink Inc.
I have been asked to create an advertisement for Fizzy drink Inc. This advert will be in the form of an
advertising filmThe advert will be displayed on YouTube or similar video hosting service. The funding
to produce this advert will be coming from the company itself and partially from other advertising
already in place on YouTube. The advert will also use YouTube’s advertising system to be displayed
before other videos on the site. The aim of the advert will be to increase sales and public awareness
of the product.
Camera operator
Having a camera operator film for us would be useful so that we could
have a smoother, better picture and the expertise of someone who
works in the field.Having a camera operator also gives us the benefit of
having access to professional equipment including very expensive, High
Definition cameras. They also have to use this equipment to their
advantage by finding the perfect angle for the shoot. Taking into
consideration background, and lighting.
Sound operator
This person makes sure that all the sound in the advert is to a good
quality. They do this by operating different types of microphonesand
editing the sound once it has been recorded to ensure that there are no
unwanted sounds and that you can hear actors’ voices clearly. This
person cooperates with the camera crew to ensure that the audio fits
the movements of the actor’s mouths and that the volume is correct and
a similar level to other sounds including special effects in the production.
Editor
We could have an editor do the editing for us instead of doing it
ourselves on consumer level software. With a professional editor we
would have access to the same computers and software used in TV and
Film, which will ensure that our advert is of a good standard.
Professional editors usually use custom built workstation computers
with very high end processors, sound cards, graphics cards, and 2 or more screens for maximum
productivity. This is to make the editing process as fast as possible, and to insure that none of the
quality is lost during this process.
