4. We are able to tell that she is young girl because of the mise en scene we have used, It is set in a bedroom with magazine around the room and the room is in feminine colours. We can tell that she is young because of the pyjamas she is wearing they are more immature than those that would be worn but an adult. This links to the target audience of both males and females. It would appeal to an age group of over 15. The audience will be able to relate to the innocence of the protagonist.

8. Children under the age of 15 may become scared by the thought of someone following the protagonist for that amount of time as the situation is very realistic and could happen to them. We used point of view shots of from the intruder so that the audience can get more of idea of who he is by what he sees rather than telling them about his background. Our main aim was to make the audience feel involved we did this through reaction shots of the characters. We chose not to use any dialogue as we wanted to make the audience make there own decision of what is happening. We want the audience to put themselves in the position of the antagonist. The audience initially thinks that he is a bad person as he is in the room. But in the rest of the film we find that he is in fact trying to protect her.

10. We had to adjust it again as FCE was a very complex film editing software it allowed us to make smooth cuts and transitions between shots. The only problem we found was to match shots was they were not at the same angle and also shadows effected it.. A problem occurred when we tried to match the shots of the letters as we took them in two different takes we resolved this problem by re-shooting them in one take.

11. We have used other programs such a photo shop to make the credits glow on the phone and also to edit the photos of the girl with her boyfriend. We made the credits glow on the phone this by setting the picture as a photo and then matching it to a shot of the phone ringing.

13. Overall I feel that the product was very successful. The we were able to stick to our shooting schedule and didn’t need to make any adjustments to what we shot. Once we had worked through the film and Added transitions and made cuts it looked good. We managed to achieve our aim of creating a thriller opening. Every time we made progress we updated our blog to give us an up to date journal.
