1. Art to complete over Easter …
You then need to decide on what materials you want to you use to create your final piece. Is it
going to be a painting, drawing, collage, print, sculpture.. etc?
You will need to tell Miss May/Miss Findlay straight after Easter so equipment can be ordered.
Over Easter you MUST make sure you have completed all the work already set.
You have just under two week before your exam after Easter!!!
3. Make sure you have plenty of observational drawings and photographs
4. If you can go to an Art Exhibition.... create a board on the exhibition
Look on The Beaumont Blog for current exhibitions on and the Time Out website.
Stick on leaflets, do sketches, takes
photographs for this board. This will
show you are working independently on
your project and will gain you further
marks
5. Begin think about your final piece. You need to have tested out materials and ideas
before you go into the exam. We will be working on this after Easter. It would
however be a good idea to make a start before. This may mean creating a small
canvas painting, trying out different colour schemes, creating a small sculpture.
To get ahead and
gain further
marks create an
ideas board that
explores your
final idea. Like
the ones on the
next few slides.
