This will help you later, as you form a thesis for your academic argument essay.
Ultimately, a revised version of this literature review will appear as the first section of your Persuasive Researched Writing Project.

Is your thesis appropriate for a literature review?
Does it introduce your issue adequately? (Please note: This thesis could become one of the claims for your academic argument, but it will

be the thesis for the entire project).
Organization

Does each paragraph support your thesis?
Is the essay logically structured?
Do the sentences in your paragraph follow a clear topic sentence?
Sources

Are your sources primarily scholarly?
Do your sources contain primary research and/or studies?
Are your sources closely related to your topic? If not, how well do you connect them to your topic?
