Please ask questions as we go Brief outline of my background. I’ve been developing software for over twenty years now. I’ve often struggled to ship products on time and with a quality that would satisfy anyone. Along the way I tried the Rational Process and UML diagramming – in the hope that if I got the diagrams clean and simple everything would follow. Instead I got stuck in analysis paralysis. After my flirtation with UML and some time traveling I discovered c2.com and eXtreme Programming. In the seven years since I’ve refined my understanding of Agile methods and tested the ideas out on unexpecting coworkers. For the past couple of years I’ve been putting Scrum in to practice in my day to day work. In past couple of years I’ve taken the Scrum Master course, Certified Scrum Practitioner (means practicing at least one year and submit a case study that’s reviewed by your peers), Working towards Certified Scrum coach. In addition I’ve co-taught CSM course twice and am helping to develop a 2 day course for Team members.
