3. Place What is it like? Describes all of the characteristics that give an area it’s own special quality

4. Human – Environment Interaction What is the relationship between people and their surroundings? People adjust to or change their surroundings to meet their needs

5. Region What common features bring geographical areas together? Area with common physical features or human features

6. Movement How do people in one area relate to people in other areas? People, ideas, goods and information moving from place to place
