My teaching and research interests focus on immunology in general and cancer immunology in particular. In addition, I am interested in understanding how cancer and viruses escape from the immune system. Some of my students are also interested in identifying new natural ingredients with immunomodulatory and anticancer effects. I have several research projects funded by Tanta University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Egypt to understand the biology of immune cells (mainly T cells, stem cells, and dendritic cells) COVID-19 and cancer.
