2. What is GitHub?
 GitHub is a web-based Git repository
hosting service, which offers all of
the distributed revision control and
source code management (SCM)
functionality of Git as well as adding
its own features.

3. What does GitHub provide?
 It provides a web-based graphical
interface and desktop as well as
mobile integration. It also provides
access control and several
collaboration features such as wikis,
task management, and bug tracking
and feature requests for every
project.

4. How many users does GitHub have?
 As of 2015, GitHub reports having
over 9 million users and over 21.1
million repositories, making it the
largest code hoster in the world.

5. History of GitHub
 24 February 2009: GitHub team members
announced, in a talk at Yahoo!
headquarters, that within the first year of
being online, GitHub had accumulated over
46,000 public repositories, 17,000 of which
were formed in the previous month alone.
At that time, about 6,200 repositories had
been forked at least once and 4,600 had
been merged.
 23 December 2013: GitHub announced it
had reached 10 million repositories.
