Introduction LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Psalms 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou

• The Name of the LORD communicates the intelligence of God’s being throughout
his Creation.
• The Name of the LORD identifies, characterizes, and defines God’s person, plan,
and purpose unto his Creation.
• The Name of the LORD is pervasive, ubiquitous, and dominant throughout God’s
Creation; and yet is mysterious in its manifestation, and in its essence.

11. Conclusion Hebrews 4:3 For we which have
believed do enter into rest, as he
said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if
they shall enter into my rest:
although the works were finished
from the foundation of the world.
• Declared the End from the
Beginning.
• Calls those things which are “not”
as though they “were”.
• We were “created” in Christ Jesus.
• His thoughts are to bring us to an
“expected end”.
• Until “Shiloh” — which means
“rest” — will come.
