• If you wish to continue using the Notes client you can also upgrade
from those releases direct to Notes 11.0.1 – in place
• Alternatively, HCL Client Application Access (HCAA) is a smaller and
leaner client that can run the applications that run your business -
unchanged
• The HCL Nomad clients enable you to run your Notes applications on
iOS (iPhone and iPad) , Android (Phone and Tablet) and ChromeOS
• The forthcoming Nomad Web client is a progressive web application
which will allow you to run your Notes applications unchanged in a
web browser without having to install any client

• If you prefer Notes for mail and calendaring then we have just

• Processor Value Units was an IBM method of measuring the horse
power available to servers. PVUs measured the power available not
the processing power actually used

21. As a customer, we mainly use cloud solutions now.
We don’t have the resources/infrastructure/desire
to maintain on premises servers
• Many, many HCL business partners are also skilled and experienced in
hosting your Domino environment for you
• This is not a migration but a “lift and shift” operation where your
Domino environment is moved either to the partners data centre or
to a cloud hosted environment managed by the partner
• This will normally be transparent to users – they can access the
applications that run their business in the same way they did before
