3. A day in the life of a 5th grader
Arrive, unpack, morning prayers over the PA,
morning meeting where we talk about the current
events, go over our schedule for the day, and students
may share.
Reading and Math are always in the morning,
followed by lunch and recess, a read aloud, and
Writing, Religion, and Science/Social Studies in the
afternoon.
The day ends with afternoon prayers over the PA, and
our own class intentions.

7. Accelerated Reader
All students have taken their STAR test and been
given their AR reading levels and goal.
Students are required to meet their point goal each
quarter. This includes one non-fiction book the first
quarter and two non-fiction books in quarters 2,3, &
4.
Students must pass their AR tests with an average of
80% or better.
Reading every night will help students stay on track
to meet their goal.

20 minutes of reading, signed by a parent

Will vary depending on the lesson
