Monarchy
Monarchy is when a king rules the
land. A king like sundiata (The lion
king) and mansa musa . That is
monarchy. Monarchy = 1 ruler. We do
not use monarchy. Mali is ruled by
kings. The king got lots of gold and
money from the tax. People said the
king was the richest man on earth.
Soon the king had what ever he
wanted. They got even more things
from trading. Mali grew rich with the
trade tax. Then they built more

Map of Africa and Mali
This is the stuff I have about my map . Sahara trade
routes between the salt mines in the south . And the
Niger river go’s across Mali . And there’s two oceans
around Africa the Atlantic ocean and the Indian ocean .
Then the Mediterranean sea and the red sea . Ancient
Mali was located on the continent of Africa . The
ancient empire was in the western part of Africa below
the Sahara dessert . The Niger river flowed through the
empire of Mali . The trade route ran north to the
Mediterranean sea and across to Egypt . The Sahara
dessert was hot and dry and there was salt on the
sand . And the empire of Mali was very hot and sunny .
And that’s what I wrote about my map of Mali .

  • 23. Map of Africa and Mali This is the stuff I have about my map . Sahara trade routes between the salt mines in the south . And the Niger river go’s across Mali . And there’s two oceans around Africa the Atlantic ocean and the Indian ocean . Then the Mediterranean sea and the red sea . Ancient Mali was located on the continent of Africa . The ancient empire was in the western part of Africa below the Sahara dessert . The Niger river flowed through the empire of Mali . The trade route ran north to the Mediterranean sea and across to Egypt . The Sahara dessert was hot and dry and there was salt on the sand . And the empire of Mali was very hot and sunny . And that’s what I wrote about my map of Mali . By: Dejuan Return to Exhibit
  • 24. Mali Farming Soil in Mali is fine for growing crops . Farmers in Mali grew millets, peanuts, rice and beans. Mali has rich soil just like Greece and Rome. They farm on hill. The rich soil comes from the Niger river. If it dose not rain the crops will not grow. Sundiata knew farming made Mali strong . By Ethan www.wikipedia.com Return to Exhibit
