• The period of time is probably early 1900s.
• The setting of the story is Elizabeth City,
North Carolina; Kitty Hawk, Dayton, Ohio;
and St. Louis.

4. Plot
Wilbur and Orville want to be the first people to
fly, but the weather is bad and they are losing
money. So, people who heard from Wilbur and
Orville help them.
