80. Checking the cleaning cloth and
beam entry glass:
1. Visually inspect the cleaning cloth for sediments. In
case of sediments, repeat the cleaning steps with a
new cleaning cloth.
2. Visually inspect beam entry glass with a lash light
(torch) for sediments and damage. In case of sedi
ments, repeat the cleaning steps with a new cleaning
cloth.
When no sediments are found, the cleaning proce
dure is complete.
Cleaning the beam entry glass:
1. Shake the isopropanol bottle and spray the wadded
cloth. Do not soak the cloth with isopropanol!
2. Apply the cleaning cloth to the middle of the beam
entry glass.
3. Using light pressure, move the cleaning cloth out
ward in a circular spiral motion. Avoid skin contact
with the beam entry glass.
