2. Permissions: Controlling Access
• Types of Users: Site Members, System Users
• Permissions: Admin, Editor, Author, Inherit, Read-Only, Deny with one
option: Approval Chain Exempt
• Permissions are group-based, not user-based
• Permissions assigned at “node” level, but cascade down
• Important: When creating groups remember to give each group
“Site Access” for each site you want to allow access to
• AND ALL USERS MUST BELONG TO A GROUP!
3. What Can Site Members Do?
• Per node (page) editing access from the front end
• No Mura Admin/Back-End Access
• Access to only allowed editing Tabs, Publishing
rights
• Bonus: Enable wiki-like functionality on any site
4. What Can System Users Do?
• Access to editing on both front & back end
• Can still be limited same as Site Members
• Important: Always remember to give each group
