Idli Upma is very simple dish we serve this for morning breakfast or
for evening as snacks. In my home most of the day we prepare idli and
dosa many idli’s are excess after we finished breakfast so my mom
prepare Idli upma for evening snacks sometimes we make this upma
with fresh idli’s also now let me share my mom’s recipes of Idli upma.
Ingredients
Ingredients for Flour
Idlis : 5 items
Onion 1 Large
Curry Leaves little amount
Coriander leaves little amount
Chilli Powder or green chilli
Oil 2 Table Spoon
Mustard seed ½ Tablespoon
Urad Dal 1/2 Table spoon
Turmeric powder Pinch
Salt to Taste
Method
Method for Making
Make idles in to small pieces using your hands if you need
shape try with knife
Chop the onion and green chillies in to small pieces
Now take a pan add 2 tablespoon of oil put Mustard seed and
urad dhal wait for few minutes

Idli Upma
Now add curry leaves. Now add green chilli and chopped onion
wait for onion become brownish
Now add the turmeric powder then put all the entire idli pieces
Mix well for 2 to 3 minutes
Note
We can do without turmeric powder
We can add Idli powder with this to increase the taste
We can add Chiken or Mutton Masla to try different taste
