Position develops and matures sales pipeline both with existing and new customers in designated territory. Responsible for<br />new target account identification, qualification, and development.<br />· Applies principles of commercial sales/marketing -- Develops and implements sales strategies<br />in conjunction with Regional plan, maintains and grows the established business within<br />assigned territory, meets or exceeds annual sales goals.<br />· Applies the principles of customer relationship building – maintains existing accounts and new<br />account development. Understands customer programs and identifies key decision makers.<br />Responsible for customer follow up to insure satisfaction and service.<br />· Applies principles of profitability and price optimization – Provides recommendations on<br />pricing structure. Assists with the development of budgets and forecasts based on volume,<br />pricing and proper plant sourcing. Identifies and executes tactics to increase profitability on<br />existing accounts.<br />· Applies the principles of account management – Develops and maintains appropriate call plans,<br />effectively utilizes CRM database tools, regularly communicates customer status and<br />information.<br />· Applies the principles of internal relationship building -- Collaborateswith department<br />managers/representatives. Serves as the “voice of the customer”<br />· Applies principles of effective communication -- Develops/delivers presentations (internally<br />and externally).
