Background Info:
Founded in 1916 by William E. Boeing in Seattle, Washington,
Boeing went to Yale and worked in Timber industry. Used his wealth and
knowledge from this experience in his subsequent design and assembly of
airplanes

Boeing Commercial Airplanes:
Boeing has been the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for more
than 40 years.. Today, the main commercial products are the Boeing 737
, Boeing 747, Boeing 767, Boeing 777 & Boeing 787 families of airplanes and
the Boeing Business Jet.. Boeing manufacture and deliver approx 15000
airplanes in 37 years.
Commercial Aviation Services offers a full range of world-class
engineering, modification, logistics and information services to its global
customer base, which includes the world's passenger and cargo airlines, as
well as maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities. Approximately 70 percent of

• Overall, the entire 737 family is the best-selling commercial jet in history, with orders for more

equivalent to 101,500 trips from the Earth to the moon and back.

• On November 10, 2005, the 777-200LR set a world record for the longest non-stop

during its 22-hour 42-minute flight. It was flown by Pakistan International Airlines pilots
and PIA was the first airline to fly the 777-200LR Worldliner.

BOEING & SHAHEEN AIR INTERNATIONAL
Shaheen Air International operating as Shaheen Air is a private Pakistani airline with its head office on the grounds of
Jinnah International Airport in Karachi.
BOEING FLEET
B737-200
Shaheen Air has a fleet of ten self-owned Boeing 737-200 aircraft that are operating on both domestic and international
routes. Each aircraft has the seating capacity of 120 passengers and has extra leg space to keep the passengers
comfortable throughout their journey.
B737-400
Shaheen Air International has also finalized a deal for purchase of twelve (12) B737-400 aircraft. This is the largest
ever purchase deal by any private sector airline in the history of Pakistan. Boeing 737-400 is a very popular twin engine
narrow body short to medium haul jet aircraft. Right now, Shaheen Air International is operating two (02) 737-400s, with
seating capacity of 164 passengers, and the number is going to be twelve by the end of year 2012.
